Great product for counter top!

This was my first time ever using any type of epoxy, and it was super easy to use! It worked perfectly for my bathroom vanity countertop makeover. It mixed well with enamel paint to colour, and spray paint. I was able to achieve the look I wanted without having to get new counter tops.

Outstanding!

Works awesome. Definitely a good buy! Refurbished my old countertop, my bar top in my man cave and had some left for a table top coat on my river table.

 Very easy to work with

I have used many epoxies and this has great clarity, and is very easy to work with. I have only done pours .5 inch thick, but very happy with this product. Instructions are easy to follow and I have not had any bad batches with uncured epoxy after nearly the entire kit and 4 projects.

Ensuring that your work environment is clean, well ventilated, low humidity, and at the right temperature are vital elements to ensure the success of your project. The working temperature needs to be at 23°c/73°c, the bottles and content must be at the same temperatures, which is essential for an optimal cure. If stored in a cold climate, ensure to warm up the bottles at the required temperature to avoid a cloudy mix.

Our countertop kits are priced around 99.99 per gallon.

The surfaces that are epoxy coated realize a high-quality crystal clear shine that is long-lasting. The durability of epoxide makes it incomparable with other adhesives and chemical agents. The countertops become moisture & flame-resistant after being coated by epoxide. At labs and industries, epoxy tops can adhere to many chemical spills and reactions. Most importantly, epoxy countertops are very easy to clean, as they can resist dents, scuff, and scratches.

For the average 1/8" thick coat at constant temperature of 24°C - 73°F, Countertop epoxies usually have a working window of a maximum of 40 minutes, get tack-free roughly in 4-5 hours, and can be sanded 4-5 hours later. However, they usually cure after 24 hours and can be used after 5-7 days. Moreover, they will cure slowly in cool weather, and in hotter weather, they will dry faster. Remember that epoxies are temperature-sensitive. The constant temperature will ensure perfect curing.

Yes, you can apply as many layers of the coat as you need for the desired result; but the procedure is a little bit tricky. First of all, if the first layer of resin has not fully cured and is still tacky to the touch – but not sticky, this is the ideal time to pour another layer. On the other hand, if the countertop epoxy resin surface has fully cured, you will need to 'rough it' by sanding the surface to give the new layer something to adhere to. Don't forget to clean all the dust residue before applying a new sheet of the coat.

To keep epoxy countertops "in good health," you should follow the following instructions. Never use abrasives or alcohol on the epoxy surface. It will take away the shine of the surface, making it dull and cloudy. To clean the tabletops, use gentle fabric on the surface, like a towel, rag, or chamois cloth. Moreover, acetone or paint thinner could clean the surface if accidentally it realizes a significant spill. For best results, use steam-cleaning equipment to clean epoxy resin countertops without causing any damage.

The bubbles appear due to any one of the following reasons. Mixing the resin and the hardener too fast and forcefully, not sealing the surface thoroughly, and applying layers on the wet epoxy coat.
Now, firstly, always be careful when mixing the resin. Gentle mix the resin for at least 8-10 min to achieve a homogenous fluid. Secondly, the surface you are working on should be sealed entirely; otherwise, the bubbles will enter your epoxy. Lastly, always wait for at least 6 hours after the first coat to pour another coat.
